With particular interests in treating diabetes and high cholesterol, John Jewell, MD has 11 years of experience in medicine. He currently serves as a physician for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he is responsible for practicing internal medicine and performing administrative duties. Dr. Jewell is also entrusted with training and mentoring medical students and residents, and is particularly proud of the role that he plays in molding future doctors. He chose to devote his career to medicine because he wanted to make a difference in people's lives and relished the intellectual challenge that it presented. He attributes his success to working hard and paying close attention to detail.

Dr. Jewell completed his MD in 1998 at Georgetown University. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Alumni Admissions Program of Georgetown University.
