VQ ActionCare Honors American Diabetes Month with Free Resistance Chair Giveaway

SAN DIEGO, CA, November 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In an effort to raise awareness of the importance of exercise in the prevention and management of diabetes, VQ ActionCare is hosting a giveaway contest during the month of November in honor of American Diabetes Month. According to the American Diabetes Association, an estimated 24 million adults and children live with diabetes in the United States, and another 57 million are at risk. Regular aerobic activity has been proven to help individuals maintain a healthy weight, lower blood sugar levels, reduce the risk of heart disease, and improve overall health.

Nearly a quarter of VQ ActionCare customers have diabetes, according to a recent survey conducted by the company's media director, Andrew Siminoff. "Many of our customers purchase the Resistance Chair in order to get the physical activity they need to battle diabetes," Siminoff explained.
