Nancy A. Zaccanti serves as the secretary of Professional Homecare Providers

WHITEWATER, WI, December 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nancy A. Zaccanti, RN, BSN, RCS has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health services.

With 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Zaccanti specializes in respiratory and diabetes care, as well as wound care management. Her responsibilities entail performing patient assessments in patients' homes, administering medication, managing compliance, supervising personnel, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants and ventilator nurses, overseeing intravenous medications and feeding pump administration. Before her return to academics, she worked as a certified nursing assistant.

Ms. Zaccanti received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1992. A respiratory care specialist and certified nursing assistant, she is a member of the Wisconsin Nurses Association and The American Nurses Association, Inc. In addition, she serves as the secretary of Professional Homecare Providers and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She became involved in her profession because of her desire to make a difference in others' lives. She attributes her success to her education, ability to work her way up through the ranks and passion for her profession. In the future, she intends to conduct new research and become more involved in developing her diabetes practice.
