Cambridge Who's Who Names L. Damon Weddington Professional of the Year in Healthcare
Dr. Damon Weddington receives highest honor from Cambridge Publishing

HOUSTON, TX, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --L. Damon Weddington, MD, Physician with Diabetes America, Inc, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Healthcare. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Dr. L. Damon Weddington has 14 years of professional experience, four of which have been in his current position with Diabetes America, Inc. There he utilizes his expertise in diabetes treatment to teach patients how to properly control their blood glucose levels. He also treats diabetic complications, promotes wellness techniques, oversees clinical operations, treats complicated or unusual medical cases, coordinates blood tests and speaks at public events. Prior to attaining his current position, Dr. Weddington served as an internist at the Beaufort Naval Hospital and ran a private practice for two years in Downtown Houston.

Personal drive and passion for his profession are the keys to Dr. Weddington's success. He completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in 2000, and earned his MD from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1995.
