Lynn Elizabeth Scarengos, RDH, celebrates third year with Dr. James J. Young III

BELLE CHASSE, LA, May 6, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn Elizabeth Scarengos, Registered Dental Hygienist for Dr. James J. Young III, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in dental hygiene.

Lynn Elizabeth Scarengos, RDH, is a recognized authority on dental hygiene with nearly four decades of practiced expertise. Now lending her services to the practice of Dr. James J. Young III, she promotes good oral hygiene and educates patients in the field of dental healthcare. She also screens for gastroesophageal reflex disease, diabetes and oral cancer. In fact, she promotes the original Bass Brushing technique designed by Dr. Charles Cassidy Bass of Tulane Medical School.

With a lifelong interest in dental health, Ms. Scarengos earned her associate degree in dental hygiene from Loyola University at New Orleans in 1973. The highlight of her career to date, she noted, was successfully detecting a patient's heart complications through a simple examination of his mouth. Today, she lends her abilities to a practice that provides dental care including dentures, extractions, relines, cleanings, checkups, polishing, sealants, bleaching, bonding, contouring, crowns, bridges, fillings, partials, and implant care. She is the past-president of New Orleans Area Dental Hygiene Association and maintains active membership in the Louisiana Dental Hygienists Association and Jefferson Genealogical Society, Inc.
