PONTIAC, IL, July 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karole Hough, Executive Manager of Wellness Success, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health & wellness.

Karole Hough was diagnosed with diabetes in 2005. After making some necessary lifestyle changes, and with support from her family, she decided to make a career transition into health and wellness. This allowed her to share her knowledge and experience with others. Ms. Hough uses her expertise as a life and wellness coach to provide diabetes lifestyle instruction, next-step management, and personal development support. She presents the topic of "Lifestyle Changes and Stress Management" for the diabetes education classes at OSF St. James Hospital in her hometown of Pontiac, IL.

As a public speaker, she creates her own seminars and presentations on such topics as stress management, wellness choices, professional self-care, creating vision boards, and overcoming self-sabotage. She has also created the course in Diabetes Lifestyle Training, designed to be the next step for those who have completed the diabetes education classes. She is the author of the forthcoming book, "Living with Diabetes: Lifestyle Changes, Healthier Choices, Responsible Self-Care."

Ms. Hough holds a master's degree in counseling from Illinois State University, earned in 1992. She is a member of the Diabetes Advisory Board at OSF St. James Hospital in Pontiac and is a member of the Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce.
