Dr. Young has nearly 40 years of professional experience in health care, and has demonstrated his expertise in endocrinology, internal medicine, nuclear medicine and geriatrics for the last 21 years at Southwest Endocrine Consultants. Holding an MD from Colorado Medical School after the first two years at Dartmouth Medical School, he has dedicated his career to providing patients with diabetes, endocrine disorders, and metabolic problems with individualized care, even if they require lifelong treatment.

Dr. Young sustains his medical knowledge through his affiliations with the American College of Endocrinology and the American College of Physicians, of which he is a fellow. He attributes his success to being part of a full-service practice and all-inclusive treatment facility in which the entire staff has exemplary interpersonal abilities. Going forward, Dr. Young hopes to mentor young doctors and teach them to practice medicine with dedication and skill.
